To our dear patrons,
It is with a heavy heart that we must announce the cancellation of our upcoming show The Taming of the Shrew. The board has spent the last week working on options to avoid this cancellation. However, due to current recommendations from state and federal authorities, we cannot in good conscience present the spring show. As of today’s decision we will present this as our fall show, pending recommendations of the federal government and the CDC. Please know that MCT does not make this decision lightly. To the best of our knowledge we have never had to cancel a show. Circumstances being what they are we cannot endanger the well being of our beloved patrons, our cast, or our crew.
If you have already purchased tickets from Safari Pearl, you can take them back for a refund. If you purchased tickets online via PayPal, please contact MCT via gmail for a refund.
As you know MCT is an all volunteer organization. Without you we cannot keep the theatre running. We ask for your continued support during this trying time. Please consider becoming a member, or donating to MCT. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated and tax deductible. To donate please click here.
Theatre has and always will be a light in the darkness. Even as we face this challenging time remember that our light cannot be extinguished. The ghost light will stay on until we see you again.
Be well and we will see you in the near future,
